  Wendy & Dan – Olowalu Plantation House Wedding. Lahaina, Maui. Wendy was such a stunning beautiful bride. She designed and created her wedding dress, which was amazing!  Her bouquet was adorned with vintage broaches, and a “W” (we are still not sure if it was for Wendy or Wedding!), and the smiles were unbelievable!  KISS was the theme, and it made for an absolutely perfect wedding day! Kamehameha Day Parade 2012 – Lahaina, Maui

Our favorite parade in Lahaina!  They close Front Street, dress the pretty horses up with beautiful flower leis, and All the keiki come out to watch the excitement. The parade is to honor and celebrate Kamehameha the Great, the monarch who first established the Kingdom of Hawai’i. The pa’u riders represent a royal court led by a Queen on horseback, followed by princesses representing the eight major islands of Hawai’i. Living in Maui its easy to get spoiled. Its not that we take for granted that we live in such a beautiful place.
