I had to pull over twice on my way to meet Alicia and Ryan, not because I was lost, but because the long winding road to their cottage was so beautiful with the afternoon sun breaking through. After a glass of my favourite wine (Kim Crawford) and a walk around the lake with my new favourite dog (Charlie) I got the feeling I often get when it comes to this part of my job… it feels like somewhere along the way I invented my life, filled it with my favourite sorts of people, dreamed up a business where my bestfriend was my partner and imagined that we would travel around the world capturing LOVE. Needless to say, I am so happy to be back on the westcoast of Canada for the summer and to shoot Ryan and Alicia’s wedding on the lake at the end of July – and will be back for a swim next weekend!
